Title:  Depth-dependent functional MRI responses to chromatic and achromatic stimuli throughout V1 and V2

Moderator: Xiuli Zheng, Ph.D

Speaker: Yuxia Wang, M.D. candidate

Time: 14:00, March 17th 2021

Location: the lab of HMRRC (10011, the VIII Teaching Building)

Ted: Do we say reality as it is?

Highlight:

1. Stimuli were red/green, 0.5 Hz and black/white, 12 Hz flickering checkerboards.

2. Selectivity for chromatic stimuli was greatest in superficial gray matter of V1.

3. Selectivity for chromatic stimuli was greater near foveal V1 than in peripheral V1.

4. Alternating bands selective for chromaticity were reliably localized in V2.
